In the present research hydrogel films based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) and polyacrylic acid (PAA) blend, with various crosslink densities, have been prepared through different thermal treatment. The results of FTIR and DSC confirmed quality and quantity of conclusion on miscibility of PVA/PAA blends, respectively. Besides, biocompatibility of the samples has been proved in cytotoxicity tests using L929 cells, according to ISO10993–5. Water uptake of the hydrogel blends is measured. pH sensitivity properties of blends are studied with and without boiling in NaOH solutions where the effect of swelling in water before boiling has also been investigated. Preswellings in water and NaOH concentration have been found to be mainly effective on pH sensitivity of PVA/PAA blends. Biocompatibility and pH sensitivity behavior make these hydrogels appropriate candidates to orally deliver drugs such as insulin and peptides that can be released in basic pH of intestine. The stability of these films in acidic solutions and its expansion and also the consequent release of drugs in basic solutions have been studied by using Teofilin as a model drug by UV-spectrophotometeric measurements. 相似文献

The isotopic compositions of carbon compounds in landfill leachate provide insights into the biodegradation pathways that dominate the different stages of waste decomposition. In this study, the carbon geochemistry of different carbon pools, environmental stable isotopes and compound-specific isotope analysis (CSIA) of leachate dissolved organic carbon (DOC) fractions and gases show distinctions in leachate biogeochemistry and methane production between the young area of active waste emplacement and the old area of historical emplacement at the Trail Road Landfill (TRL). The active area leachate has low DOC concentrations (<200 mg l?1) dominated by fulvic acid (FA=160 mg l?1), and produces CH4 dominantly by CO2 reduction (D? excess=20.6‰). Leachate generated in the area of older waste has high DOC (>4770 mg l?1) dominated by FA (4482 mg l?1) and simple fatty acids (acetic=1008 mg l?1 and propionic=608 mg l?1), and produces CH4 by the acetate fermentation pathway (D? excess=9.8‰). CSIA shows an advanced degradation and a progressive accumulation of 13C of fatty acids in leachate from the older area. The enriched 13C value of FA (?20 and?26‰ for the older and active parts, respectively,) and of low molecular weight DOC (?8 and?27‰) as well as of the bulk DOC (?21 and?25‰) shows more advanced degradation in the older part of the landfill, which is consistent with the shift in the humic/FA ratios (0.05 and 0.18). The 13C enrichment of acetate (?12‰) above the 13C of DOC (?21‰) and of propionic acid (?19‰), in older leachate, suggests that this acetate has not evolved from the simple degradation of larger organic molecules, but by homoacetogenesis from the enriched dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC) pool (8‰) and H2, which produce a more enriched 13C of acetate. In contrast, the 13C of the minor acetate in the active area (?17‰) indicates that CO2-reducing bacteria must be the primary consumers of H2, which has resulted in enriched 13CDIC (10‰) and depleted 13CCH4 (?58‰). 相似文献

In the present paper, another latent capability of SWCNT as a mass sensor is investigated. The relationship between the resonant frequency, dynamic pull-in voltage at the resonance frequency shift, and the attached mass is established by using the nonlocal Euler–Bernoulli beam theory. Using this relationship, a general closed-form nonlinear sensor-equation has been derived for the detection of the mass attached to the SWCNT. The aim of this study and present model is to show the sensitivity of the Cantilevered SWCNT to the values and positions of attached mass. Moreover, the results indicate that by increasing the value of attached mass and considering a single non-local scaling parameter (e0), the values of dynamic pull-in voltage at the resonance frequency shift are decreased. Because of the small scaling parameter (e0), the mass sensitivity of carbon nanotube increases, when the position of the attached mass is in the tip of a Cantilevered SWCNT length. The authority and the accuracy of these formulas are examined with other pull-in sensor equations in literatures. The results demonstrate that the new sensor equation can be applied for CNT-based mass sensors with rational accuracy. 相似文献

AbstractIn this article, a new relationship is proposed for the fictitious mass of viscous dynamic relaxation (DR) method. First, incremental equations are derived for DR steps. Using transformed Gershgörin theory, a new relationship is achieved for fictitious mass of viscous DR by formulating modified time step ratio. This procedure presents a new algorithm for the viscous DR method. To evaluate the numerical efficiency of the proposed method, some 2D and 3D truss and frame structures are analyzed with elastic linear and geometrically nonlinear behaviors. Results show that by using the proposed algorithm for fictitious mass, the convergence rate of the viscous DR method is improved so that the proposed algorithm presents the structural response with lower iterations in comparison with other common DR techniques.Communicated by Joerg Fehr. 相似文献

A porous cross-linked poly (ethyleneamine)-polysulfonamide (PEA-PSA) as a novel organic support system is synthesized in the presence of silica template by nanocasting technique. The paper demonstrates immobilization of CuI nanoparticles inside the pores (PEA-PSA@CuI) for the facile recovery and recycling of these nanoparticles. The presence of porous PEA-PSA and PEA-PSA@CuI nanocomposites was confirmed using FT-IR spectroscopy, FE-SEM, EDX, TGA, XRD, TEM, BET, XPS, WDX, 1H NMR, and ICP-OES techniques. The PEA-PSA@CuI along with Ag(I)/K2S2O8 was implemented as a reusable cooperative catalyst-oxidant system in the N-arylation of p-toluenesulfonamide with substituted carboxylic acids in mild condition. So, the novel decarboxylative cross-coupling catalyzed by copper and silver has been developed. Aromatic, secondary and tertiary aliphatic acids underwent high efficient decarboxylative processes with p-toluenesulfonamide to afford the corresponding products. This method provides a practical approach for the flexible synthesis of sulfonamides from the readily affordable substrates.
